Here is "Foggy Bottom", written by Jerry Reed. This tune is from his 2006 album "Let's Git It On". For the last year I've been working on dozens of great Jerry Reed compositions in the Berklee "Atkins/Reed Ensemble" led by Rick Peckham.

Tenderly, a lovely ballad written by Walter Gross. This is an arrangement I learned (stole) from fingerstyle virtuoso, Richard Smith. When I asked him if he'd show me his arrangement of the tune and how he came up with it he replied, "I stole it from Chet and Lenny".

Recorded at the Fretboard Journal's Seattle headquarters on December 15, 2013. Robertson is playing his main guitar, a Collings OM2H.

French for "Farewell My Friend", aka "Au Revoir Mon Ami". Buster wrote this tender piece to honor his friend, the most wonderful Marcel Dadi, who had died in the TWA 800 crash in 1996. I recorded Marcel's ballad "Je Te Veux" on my album "Into The Trees". What a player, what a writer!

Another one of Chet's masterpieces, so relaxed and groovy, first published on "Me and Chet" by Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed in 1972. I played it with an extended intro that I heard Buster B. Jones play, although I'm unsure what the origin of the tune is.

In a place where so many Chet folks had been before, such as Tommy Emmanuel, John Knowles, Richard Smith, Pat Bergeson, Dave Pomeroy and others, I was in a Chet mood, of course, and had to pick one of his tunes. So here's a wonderful little melody for you, titled "To B Or Not To B".
